Tension between Flashez and Countdown?

Did anyone else detcect a little resentment in the attitudes of the Countdown crew during the Mike Meade interviews included in the Flashez clip broadcast on Saturday.

I remember someone mentioning on the forum over the last year that Flashez was seen as an unwelcome rival. If could just have been that they were busy but considering Mike was a guest host those he was talking to were very cold in their manner.

Did anyone else 'feel' this?

I use to watch Flashez in the 70's and it was great show. I think it was getting so popular, that it was taking alot of Countdown's target audience away from them. Some have said that was the cause of it being axed.
