Re: W5 engine for sale whole or parts

I've learned a lot about this type of system on my Dodge 5.7 Hemi.
I have an extra 14L engine and would be interested in tuckering with a DIS.
My be a good Durant Speedster project.

Re: W5 engine for sale whole or parts

I wonder if a Pertronix system could be designed for our small diameter AutoLite distributors.

Re: W5 engine for sale whole or parts

Don- See technical page for Phil Peters article on a Pertronix ignition set-up. I followed it for my 6-14 system. Take those points out and run them over with your car!(although I never had any problem with the Durant set-up, just my British car Lucas distributor)

Yes, I read that article. Is there a kit for a 4 cylinder engine?

Re: W5 engine for sale whole or parts

Don- The tech people at Petronix are very helpful. Maybe get all the info ready for the six cylinder set-up and ask what it would take to use it on a four cylinder(maybe just change the trigger wheel?)Ross
