About ten years ago I bought my Durant, planning on restoring it.I haven't found the time to even start on it , and now health issues are making me want to sell the ol girl.I have had tons of interest in it but without a registration/title , no buyers. Is there a way to get a registration for it , or is it something I really should have insisted on before making the purchase?
Any replies greatly appreciated.
You should be able to register the car through Service New Brunswick. Most provinces have a process to allow registration when you can prove you are the rightful owner. It generally requires an affidavit and further proof you bought it such as a bill of sale or a sworn statement to your lawyer that you are the rightful owner. It's a hassle but if you follow their demands it can be done. They do this more often than you think and have a process.
