Still need new king pin set

I still haven't had any luck finding a new or NOS king pin set for my '29 Durant Model 60 4-Dr. sedan.
Looks like we might have to have someone make some replacement parts for us.
Does anyone know where someone does this at a reasonable price?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Still need new king pin set

I've been searching for several months but have'nt found any crossover. The only thing I have found is the thrust bearing. It is a D5 and is common on
Ebay. Just be careful where it is made.
You may have to purchase a set and have them center ground down to size.

Re: Still need new king pin set

According to Chilton Interchange Part repro book on Ebay .. their part #’s.

40, 55, 65, M2, M4, King Pin AE-41 King Pin Bushings AF-31
60, 63, 66 AE-41 and AF-31
610, 612, 614 AE-41 and AF-31
619 AE-41 and AF-31

DeVaux 675 to car 2633 AE-41 and AF-31
DeVaux 675 after 2632 AE-41 and AF-31
Makes sense as the 675 used a lot of Durant parts.

Star M AE-41 and AF-31
Star R AE-41 and AF-31

Seems no other make of vehicle but our own, used the same king pins and bushings. Can toss in the Canadian after market includes S2, S4, X, X2 Rugby which Chilton doesn't list. 407, 611, 618 Durant and E, 670, 685 Frontenac to K1201 using same parts as above models in Chilton (DeVaux not inc not being a Durant product). king pin number 22345 and bushing 1989.

Re: Still need new king pin set

An alternative route would be to order ground stock from McMaster Carr, machine notch, and cut the material to length. They also sell bearing bronze and have a shop make some bushings and press them in for you. The thrust bearings will most likely be in good shape and could be used over again.
