Gary.. I have an extra 6 cyl continental out of a 1928 Durant. It came with a bunch of Durant parts I got at an auction. The block has been honed out but think that most of the parts are there. Do you just need the block? Also have old one - not disassembled but have no idea as to condition.

Ah Uncle ... could be Graham Paige for example or Industrial Engine .. Red Seal / Blue Seal. Airplane as well.

Sure a lot of vehicles used them per this info ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continental_Motors_Company ... I love it, must be American as Frontenac is not listed.

Gary, I am sure I have a Continental Engine in the Garage that has been covered over for years as a spare for the Durant and DeVaux, it may have been rebuilt before my Great Grandpa passed away, but not sure. I believe it is attached to the transmission also. You contacted me on craigslist about the "31 Durant.
