I'm looking for a picture and size of the firewall cowl/radiator center rod that supports the hood. I need to make one.

Dennis, are you talking about the flat steel part that bolts to the firewall and radiator shell to hold the radiator in alignment, or the center rod that is the hood center hinge pivot?

Do, Yes I am. The flat piece that is attached to the center of the hood is too short. Does this piece attach to another piece or am I missing attachment pieces at both ends (firewall cowl/radiator cowl)? On my firewall cowl in the center there is a raised area(V) that a (rod?) could slip into.
