Hi there,
I've recently purchased a 1929 Durant 6-63, that was made at the Leaside, Ontario factory. The body tag on the car is basically sanded down to nothing and is illegible. Does anyone with a similar car have a high quality photo of their body tag so I can make a new one?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Reid
Go to the Ebay web site link here on our web site and they often pop up there for sale. You just need the Leaside plant plate and you add the model number and serial number as well as the prefix for the plant. Also if you look up Frank Witkowski on this forum, he used to have them, and still might have some left.

That's a 65 Bob ha ha. But Star or Durant the printing of the plant name is the same, unlike US ones that are DURANT MOTOR CO OF MICHIGAN or OF CALIFORNIA or OF NEW JERSEY. The A22 one DURANT MOTOR COMPANY OF NEW YORK. You have a number of vin plates from various plants.
Our Dominion ones are different as we are making the cars / trucks for Durant Motors
