So sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was a long time member of the DMAC and we would see him every year at the Hershey, Pennsylvania car show where he would come and sit down and chat awhile with us. His restoration of the Durant touring car was excellent and he was very proud of that restoration. The last time we spoke, he was working on restoring a Rickebacker automobile of the 20's and told me one of your relatives a great grandfather or great great grandfather had a Durant/Rickebacker dealership I believe in Lancaster Count, PA and that is why he was restoring the cars. He always had a pleasant smile and a great disposition, just a friendly person. Always enjoyed seeing him at several of the Durant car meets on the East Coast and at Hershey. The DMAC is a great car family of like minded people and when we loose a member it's a loss for all of us. Our condolences for you and your families loss. I hope that someone who cares to continue your dad's passion and takes new ownership of his cars and parts.

Thank you for your condolences. yes, Dad did enjoy going to Hershey and his interactions with the Durrant auto club. While we’re not selling his restored 1929 Durant we are selling many parts left over from that restoration. Do you have any other suggestions of places to let Durant enthusiasts know about the auction?
