Sad news

I just heard that "Mary Connor". wife of Jack Connor of Whitby, Ontario has passed away. Would you please keep him and his family in your prayers. Jack and his daughter Jennifer Topping are arranging the Annual Meeting of our Club to be held in Ontario in September of this year. Please keep this in mind!!

Re: Sad news

Gordon;
I just saw your posting. What sad news! Jack and Mary have always been such a great part of the DMAC and true Durantonians! Mary was quite but very pleasant to be around and you could tell that Jack and Mary had a very special thing together. I know in the last number of years, due to her health, she could not travel very far away from Canada because of the healthcare system, but for years they would attend many many events. One of the last Canadian meets in Canada in Ontario province, which was a fantastic event, Frances and I got to enjoy riding in their rumble seat most of the tour. That was the first time Frances had been in a rumble seat and it was a beautiful day and we enjoyed it tremendously. What a fund day, Jack and Mary's car had a short in the horn system and on the way back every time Jack would turn a corner the horn would blow and people around would look. Frances and I just waived like we were the King and Queen. Frances even got the Queens or royal wave downpat too. She will be missed for sure by all the Durant members who knew her and our thoughts and prayers go out to Jack and their family. Rest in peace Mary!
