Restoration of my wood wheels are almost finished, they just need the bolt holes drilled and shipped to me :smile:

Looks good Rick! Who did the work? I assume they are hickory, as I think they all were. I put several coats of marine spar varnish on mine and they've held up great(of course they don't get a lot of use). The pain was to paint the hub and rim afterward (as the spoke maker did not want painted parts, only primed). I painted the hubs black and the wheel body color (Brewster Green). I have had black "arrow" pinstripes put on each spoke. Polished the Aluminum hubcaps and painted in the Durant emblem stamping(red and white like the radiator badge). I had the rims powdercoated black(60% semigloss), as they take a beating in the mounting process. Did you find the brake drums you need yet?Ross

I had them done by a gentleman named Dave Seller down in Brea, CA.
When I drove my wheels down to him, I knew I was in the right place when I saw three Model T Fords in his driveway. :relaxed:
