Probably. The windshield on most cars was were wider at the top. I built wood for a 1928 Sedan some time ago but don't remember the measurement.
Thanks for the feedback Robin. I managed to find another 1928 Durant (Rugby) and measured it up. The top of the windscreen is indeed wider than the bottom. Doesn't look it, but it is 17 to 20mm wider.
