Re: Archive.org website

Since Google did the digitization, and Google has access to legal counsel, it seems reasonable that they would be careful not to violate existing copyrights.

A small excerpt from the preface to one file on the site:

"It has survived long enough for the copyright to expire and the book to enter the public domain. A public domain book is one that was never subject
to copyright or whose legal copyright term has expired. Whether a book is in the public domain may vary country to country."

Re: Archive.org website

I was just pointing out the safeness of the site, not theft of copywrite. That's another subject about the lawsuit and piracy against IA.

Is archive org legit and safe?
Internet archive has a lot of tools to view old tech stuff but the software section is not safe. Please note that they may take some of your data...Just don't go on any websites you think or know are harmful. Tread with careful feet.

The Internet Archive has revealed they have been archiving something which we didn't expect: malware. It sounds bizarre, but there's a pretty good reason for it. The Internet Archive has done a pretty good job of archiving our collective digital history.

Does archive .org have malware?
Indeed, archive.org is a top domain.

Wonder if this unsafe site has info on the 633 or 416 but perhaps not with both being Canadian. US seems to not understand Billy's vehicles were built outside the US since beginning of Billy's empire and did not quit Aug 1931 when Lansing the last US plant closed. Also the phantom 621 / 622 Jan 1 1932 from Lansing which can't be if plant closed, Aug 1931, with last model the short lived 619. Always questions on Billy's vehicles and no answers.

Do You own a car built by Durant? 1932 614 sedan made by Dominion Motors
