On March 5, 1929 the 16th annual Los Angeles Auto Show went up in flames. The show was held under giant outdoor tents, and when a fire started it destroyed nearly 400 hundred cars as well as boats and airplanes. Many well know brands of cars and many less well known cars were destroyed.

Does anyone know if Durant had a display at the LA auto show?
It seems likely that Mr. DeVaux had Durant cars there. Anyone have any info?
