Starter Bendix

My Bendix is has some chipped teeth and occasionally skips. Is there a source for a newly manufactured one?

(There is a company making new ones for the 1925 Chevy that appear to be identical but they gave 10 teeth. I count 11 on mine.

Re: Starter Bendix

3-121 is the part number for the proper starter drive. 3-121ac will have the torsion spring included. 10 teeth is correct for the Stars.

Re: Starter Bendix

All other things being equal, the 10 tooth should work where the 11 tooth was, and vice versa. A good electrical shop(you know in the old part of town),should be able to confirm this for you.
