Re: vacuum tank

I am using the original setup and it is working just fine. I haven't taken it apart since I went through it a few years ago to know what the flapper valve looks like.

Re: vacuum tank

In Florida we have access to ethanol free fuel. Have not had any problems with this fuel eating parts.

Re: vacuum tank

We have ethanol free gas here in Washington state too. A little more expensive, but worth the cost.
I use it in all my small engines such as lawn mower, lawn edger, weed wacker, pressure washer, etc. Ethanol clogs up the jets in small engines as well as causing other problems. Also use it in the Durant because the Durant does not get driven often. Preparing for winter, I run the fuel in the tank down to a minimum and add fuel stabilizer. All help keep things running smoothly.
