I see a picture of a car with a electric pump pump. We want to put one on our car, my problem is what fuel pump pressure is possible. I assume the car can not handle a high pressure pump. But I am having a hard time finding a very low pressure pump with our 6 volt system.
Thanks for any advice and where I can get one that will work.

What I have been using and has worked well for me is to use a 6v Airtex E8902 electric pump (2.5-4.5 PSI) along with A Holley 12-804 fuel pressure regulator (1-4 PSI)....The pressure regulator is tapped at 3/8" so you will need to bush down in size...So when you get the units installed you will need to adjust the regulator to about 1 PSI with a fuel pressure gauge before hooking the line to the carburetor...
When we first started using ethonal is gas we were having problems with rubber parts in pumps and regulators and hoses but I haven't had any problems in the last few years....Just do a google search and those items are available at several sources and prices.
