I recently purchased a 1928 Durant Brougham it does not have a tag or an engine tag I was wondering if there was any other stamps on the frame or any other way to identify this vehicle it looks as if they changed out the original motor from the pictures that I’ve looked up my name is Michael hopefully you can help me out with this one
Thank you for an amazing reply I’m not sure if it’s the original motor? it says on the block 3-14-28 and it says on the head 4-11-28 Is there a place where I can send you some photos Also it does have the six cylinder motor

Getting there The VIN plate and engine plate are gone. I can see the engine plate rivet's flush with block and space where it was. Its a model 55 Brougham. Hard to tell if 1928 model year or 1929 model year. However I do have an Eliz plant 1928 model year coupe with head 4-11-28 in Oregon in the Registry. Anyone help with rad (and shell ?)
