DMAC needs your help! Our Editor is retiring!

Hello Durantonians!
After 13 years of putting out one of the best car club magazines our Editor Carol Fogarazzo is retiring. Over the years the DMAC has one "The Golden Quill Award" for our Partner magazine numerous times and we are now looking to find someone who can help us get our magazine Edited and published 4 times a year. We thank Carol for all those years of hard work on the Partner! In our Board of Directors meeting yesterday, I appointed a Committee from the Board to look into finding and Editor and a publishing company. We have two that have agreed to look into this our Treasurer Pam VonBergen and Board member Bob Smith. We have one possible name and would like another if possible, so please let me know if you'd be willing to help out in joining the committee to find us someone that can help us with our very important magazine. This can be approached two ways, we can have someone from the DMAC edit the magazine and put it together then send it to the printer as Carol has been doing or we can find a company that will do both, compile it, Edit it and then print it and mail it out. The committee will look into all possibilities for us.
WE CANNOT GO WITHOUT OUR MAGAZINE so please consider helping out anyway you can with this transition. If you need anymore information on how you can join the committee or help out, send me an email and I will forward it to the committee members. In our membership there has to be someone out there with Editing or publishing experience to help us out.

Re: DMAC needs your help! Our Editor is retiring!

We all in the DMAC family appreciate the years Carol has spent at the helm of our newsletter, the "Partner".
Carol has expressed her desire to pass the torch. She is willing to work with whoever steps-up to the challenge.

Pam and I are starting a search for the next editor. If anyone has thoughts or names as to where we need to look, please contact us. We do hope to take a hard look at the product we are putting out and make sure the "Partner" will continue to be something the Durant members can be proud of.

Take a minute to volunteer to help us find a new Editor and printer for our club magazine! Even if you don't have any experience, you can contact Bob or Pam and get on board to help find us someone. The magazine is a very very important part of our club and keeps everyone informed on what is happening with the club. 4 heads are better than 2 so contact either one of them and lend a hand.
