I have this watch which is engraved "Scooter" Congratulations and sincerest wishes Cliff Durant 6-18-36". I have researched Cliff, but I cant figure out who is/was "Scooter"?
I plan on selling the watch any suggestions on venue and price would also be of help.

I have a "Scooter" in some correspondence between Edwin Wood (William Durants friend and vice president of GM) and the Pasadena Chevrolet factory where it was addressed. many years earlier but little information about who he was. I would guess a friend or perhaps racing associated.
