Got a chance to visit Jim G. and Cathy and my Star on Friday.
Really looking good. Jim is a very talented craftsman. Look at the drivers side fender, most of it was made by Jim so was the cowl and about the bottom 12 inches of the body! Other than the top wood bows Jim made all the other wood.
Enjoy the photo's..........Frank
I agree 150% that Jim is a real talented guy. Sorry he got out of the club he was a great member and a real great guy! I hope you sparked his enthusiasm to get the car finished. It's been awhile and I'm sure Cathy would like to drive it someday. Now when it's restored you'll have to just buckle up and bring it to a meet. We all want to see it. I know Jim got rid of the Flint he bought out west, but does he still have the Flint Limo that his Dad had that he started to restore? That will be something to see someday, a real one only probably Flint Limo!
