Are they the same type used on the 28, 29 Durants? two pieces of curved metal with a bolt through them? McMaster Carr should have the hose, you'd need a good stiff one so it will not twist I would think.

hydraulic hose or straight radiator hose (NAPA) don't use heater hose, it has no reinforcement.

I tried hydraulic hose and it was just to rigid for this. NAPA sells a reinforced heater hose. I've over a thousand miles on mine.
