Sent my "D" radiator emblem off to Karla Maxwell for refurbishing last Thursday and shipped my radiator off to "The Brassworks" for restoration. Spoke to the gentleman there and they've done several Durant an Star radiators. 8 to 10 month turn around time estimated, could be sooner, Maxwell a good 6 months. That's why restoration takes so long these specialty suppliers of services take soooo long to get things done. Generator/distributor took almost a year, starter about 7 months. Next I'm sending off my chrome radiator surround for re-chroming. Probably take 6 months for that too. Engine going to the machine shop hopefully this week or next. Like to see progress for sure!
