I am reassembling the front of the engine compartment and just installed the lower fan belt pulley on the w5 engine. There is a key but no visible way of attaching the pulley. Is it held there by the tension of the belt?

Jim, the pulley is a straight press fit only. It would help to heat the pulley before installing to preserve the crankshaft and the bore of the pulley.

It doesn't appear to have a tapered shaft. Should I heat the pulley and drive it on with a block of wood and hammer? I don't want to damage the crank.
