To all members of the DMAC:

We would like to thank all of the members of the Durant club for the prayers and concerns for our safety in regards to the northern California fires. Pam and Roger Von Bergen, Terry Neisingh and us ( like Roger said ) dodged a major bullet. We didn't have any damage except for the air pollution from the fires. We stayed indoors for our safety. However, now things have gotten much better. We are not completely out of danger but we are almost there. Many of you wrote, called, or emailed expressing your concerns. You truly are a great group and we are proud to be part of it. Thank you for being our friends.

hey Bert and Sonia
Sure good to hear from you and find you are both safe and sound. Lot of people were concerned about you two and the Von Bergens Hope I spelled that right. Take care and you both know there is room here if you need it .A bit of a drive -but no smoke here now

Re: To all members of the DMAC:

Hi to all you that were in danger.

We are sure pleased that you are all safe and sound. Last time we had any danger from fire was in 2004 when we were in Alaska travelling in our motor home. Fire on both sides of the road and a helicopter with a bucket of water following us. Truly frightening. I am sure that you will have many similar stories to tell. Just glad that you are able to tell them.

We will see you down the road.
