I have been corresponding with a production company making a documentary about early American automotive history and they are very interested in including William C. Durant in their production. The archivist who is obtaining photographs etc will be using some items from our museum for the production but is currently looking for photographs listed below. If you have any, or can tell me where to locate one, just let me know and we can get them to her. A good high quality scan is acceptable.
A photograph of a young William C. Durant
A photograph of the Durant/Dort carriage factory in Flint
Image of a closed/shut down Durant plant.

Are you looking for "old" photos, or more current photos? Somewhere I have photos of the Elizabeth plant that I took in 2003, and if I can find it, I have a copy of old drawings.
Hey Charlie;
Look and see what you have, The person from the production company just stated she wanted a photo of "a closed plant" So I'll give he whatever we can come up with and see if she wants to use it.

I have a couple very early photographs of Durant with my Uncle at a Flint fraternity event prior to Buick and I believe another of the entire cariage employees but I may be hard pressed to locate them amungst all the boxes of historical papers and pictures. I'll do my best. I gave copies to Kettering as well so perhaps those are already in hand.
