hood fit

I was just looking at our beautiful DMAC calendar and noticed something that made me feel a little bit better about an issue that has bothered me for years. The hood to cowl fit on my 6-14 has never lined up great. The reveal moulding on the left side is off by maybe an eight of an inch. Of course it's a different color and has a pinstripe so you can really see how it dips in this area. There is no wood involved here--it's metal hood to metal cowl with some hood lace in between. As I was looking at the 1930 6-14(s) in the calendar, they have the same issue. I was thinking of trying to correct that someday(which would not be easy), but now I don't have to because it wouldn't be factory original! Can't expect it to fit like a new Lexus! Ross
