Hello
Does anyone know if it is possible to buy door skins, either new or good second hand condition? My vehicle is the equivalent of the Star, 1928, M2 sedan.
I have been told my worst 2 doors (full of rust holes) will cost NZ$350 to $500 each to remove rust and restore, ready for painting. It would probably be easier and cheaper to get replacements if possible.
I look forward to anyone's response!
Thanks
Duncan

I wonder if a door skin for a Ford model A could be adapted to fit. There are many repro door skin parts for model A Ford available (See Mac's catalogue). You would have to do some checking. Ross
At least with the Stars, the door skins are formed in two pieces and spot welded at the center line bead. It might be easier to reproduce the bottom section since that part generally has the most damage.
