My 24 Flint uses a split rim and I have one that when layed flat has about a 3/8' warp on the end. Why can't I use it as it appears to me when you tighten the bolts on the wheel it would eliminate the warp. The later models had 4 lugs whereas mine has 5 which should help..

Those rims get warped very easily. However, you are correct, when you mount the rim it should conform to the felloe.
