A young man in California sent me a e-mail last week on having to sell his "work in progress)

My connection to this car goes back to 2001 when my wife and I were in Southern California. On my old registry I had a 31 Custom Sedan listed just a few miles East of Disneyland. We found the car stuffed back in a garage. The owner did not want to sell.

In 2010 a young man sent me pictures of the DeVaux he had just pulled out of the garage. He started a restoration just after that. He went for a full (off body) restoration. I am sure he did not know what he was getting into. A lot of money into it and not put back together yet. Frame all done. Engine parts bought but pistons not set in. All new glass bought. The body is paint ready. (paint purchased).

I am going to ask a friend in Riverside to look at it.

I guess I am hoping to find someone that will be interested
