How do you remove the front seat back? Looks like it is bolted to the door post. Can't see any visible screw heads and I don't want to pry. Perhaps it was upholstered after installation. Looks to be original.

The side of the seat back is screwed into the door post as well as the base of the seat. You have to remove some of the material to see the screws.

Thanks. I can't picture how the seat can be reupholstered and then reattached to the post. I'll take it apart and maybe understand it better.

Yup! Removed a little material on the post and there was the bracket that holds the seat-back on. I should have known. Thanks again.
