My friend told me of an old Star truck in the woods nearby.
We went out to look at it today. Not much left of it but the engine plate gave us a clue.

It says Star W5 481128 Made for Durant Motors Leaside, Ontario

Question. Based on the engine serial number, does anyone know approximately what year this would be.

It was definitely a truck (not a conversion)
