Valve timing for a Continental early 14L engine

Would anyone have the valve timing specs (such as valve opens @ "X" degrees before TDC). I found the specs for the 4 cylinder engine in the technical section and used that information for the 6 cylinder and it works, but I'm not sure that it is correct.

Any information will help.

Hi Claude-you can find the info under Tune up/Ign timing 28-32-it is 4 teeth for the 40 and 2 teeth for the 60. Either way when done, road test for maximum power/speed. Phil

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the reply. We're snowed out for the winter now, but look forward for fun motoring again in the spring.
