I recently purchased a 1924 Star Speedster and the builder of the car - 2 owners back - did a number of customizations that I'm trying to figure out. I know its a Zenith carb - and I can read a 5 and a 4 on the dime sized tag on the top, but the rest appears illegible. Any ideas on the model #? The choke is broken and we'll need to fix.

I don't know what to tell you looks to me like he cut the exhaust end off and sealed it shut cut the other end open put the exhaust opening on the other end and installed the manifold back on upside down and put a down draft carb on. could be anything for a carb.
