Type of Oil in '24 Star?

What kinds of motor oil do most guys use in their '24 automobiles?

manual just says replace oil every 50 miles...no grade mentioned...but...summer can be 30 weight and winter 10 or 20 w 30 makes sense. use detergent if motor is rebuilt and maybe conside non detergent if engine is well run or worn...does anyone disagree????

Straight 30 it is then, that's what I had used in my Model T's and just wanted to be sure.
