Capacities- for '24 Roadster (oil, trans & differential)

Can anyone tell me how much engine oil a 1924 Model F 4-cylinder Star takes, and approximately how much 600 weight oil the trans and rear end take?

Thanks,
Jim

Re: Capacities- for '24 Roadster (oil, trans & differential)

star 4 cyl capacity is 4 quarts of oil

transmission is filled with 600 weight oil up to plug on right side of transmission.....the plug removed acts as "level" indicator

rear axle plug when removed from axle housing also acts as fill level indicator....600 weight is recommendwed for rear axle also

above quoted from Star 1926 January repair manual for models C...CC...F...M
