Has anybody used one of the spun aluminum fuel tanks from speedway on there cars? If so what one did you use and how well did the neck line up with the cover? Looks like the 10" x 33" will work. My gas tank looks like they took this thing off-roading and beat the under side to death. Any info before i buy one would be great.

Thanks for that bit of info. I know the roads were not very good back in the day, so to speak. However the bottom of the tank looks a bit more beat than one would think since it is not that low to the ground. Of cource this car spent a lot of her life in montana.
