Anyone using the Evans waterless coolant in their collector car(s)? Sounds great for the way most of us would use our cars.A bit pricey at $40.00 a gallon. Ross
The best place to look would be on Jay Leno's garage website for the video. But, in short, it has no water, so no corrosion potential. It lasts 15 years, has a boiling point of 375 degrees. Your cooling system must have less than 3% water(they tell how to achieve this), and it works great on non-pressurized systems like on all our cars. Great for collector cars that sit for long periods. Seems like the high initial cost would even out with the long life span of the coolant, and the bigger potential savings of not damaging your engine with corrosion. Ross
