I looked thru the tech page and found nothing concerning putting modern bearings in the Star and Durant fan hubs. The hub for my D60 is in perfect condition but an upgrade at this point is desirable.
Anybody have any plans for this??

Greg King at Kenyon Machine in San Diego did one for me, I don’t know if he is still doing them. Franz had made a few kits for our fan hubs, check with Lance he may have one.

I emailed Lance and discussed the job and he recommended to send the hub to Kenyon Machine Shop for rebuild.
Wanting to save some money and I have a lathe to work with, I'm going to tackle this job myself.
I'll check my bearing book and see which bearings to use and "get er done"
