Front pulley removal on a 4 cylinder W5 engine

I'm looking for information for a 4 cylinder W-5 engine. I need to replace timing chain, but not sure how to remove front crank pulley. Is this pulley only pressed on? Thanks.

Re: Front pulley removal on a 4 cylinder W5 engine

Ron, the W5 pulley is press fit on a taper with a keyway.
Use a 3 jaw puller. Reassembly is to tap back into position.
Not the best method of attachment but probably rocket science for the era.

Where Are You From? Texarkana, Tex
