I went to get the Star out of storage and it started right away. Ran it down the block and it died - starved for gas. It did this twice more so I put it back.

Today, I went through the fuel system. All the filters are clear. Gas flows easily out of the rear tank and from the vacuum reservior to the carb.

I poured a cup into the reservior through the intake port, reconnected everything and drove it onto the trailer and off again later.

Is it possible that most of the fuel evaporated from the reservior while in storage and the engine didn't run long enough to refill the tank?
