Need new Bendix.

I need to replace my Starter Bendix. I need a recommendation for replacement. Will Ford Model A starter Bendix work as a replacement?

My experience with my Star was that several were interchangeable. The key was the number of teeth on the drive gear. I did buy some Bendix parts from an antique Ford supplier but I can't remember if it was for a Model A or T.

For better advice, call Richard at Fremont Auto Electric (510) 793-2340 in California. He specialzed in old cars. He moved his shop but the number may still be good.
