As we start the holiday weekend to celebrate the US day of Independence, let us take the time to say thank you to those men and women that have served in the Armed Forces of the United States, and to say a prayer for those that have given the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of this great country that we live in. Too often we take for granted the freedoms that we enjoy in this, but as we enjoy that bbq and cold beer on Monday or any day this weekend, just remember why you can do just that.

From beautiful San Diego, Peg and I will all of our Durant friends a great weekend, and we are looking forward to seeing all of you in Vancouver in September.

For generations Americans have been fighting and dieing in foreign lands. Much of the rest of the world hates us or takes every chance to bash us, but without our efforts and help many would be in a much different situation now for sure. Happy 4th of July to all!
