I have been informed by Alfred's daughter Nicole and wife Veronika that Alfred passed away on Apr.22.
Alfred had a recent article in the Durant Partner.

Sorry to learn about Alfred Bartak. He was an early member of the DMAC and I had hoped to see him finish his model 55 someday.
