After reading Shaun Murphy's post on poor chrome quality it got me thinking about my radiator cap. The chrome is pealing off. But underneath the metal is brass and appears to be in good shape. I thought i would just finish pealing off the chrome and buff the the brass to a high gloss finish.
Any comments on this pro or con would be greatly appreciated.
