Hi,
I have a 1925 Star car with a cracked block. The engine is the W5 Continental. Does anyone have a block in good condition for sale? Also the distributor housing broke. The distributor his an Autolite IGB 4005A 2H. Does anyone have a housing or whole distributor for sale?

I've got two W5 blocks and I know where several others are. Trouble is, they are here in California. I'm sure a club member in your area would have one. Keep trying.

The distribuutors are made of pot medal and most have bit the dust. Franz Fraitzl makes a body from aluminum. Try him.

There are many good blocks out here in Cally-fornia. but shipping is the pricey part. Maybe you could arrange for someone to bring a block to the Texarkana meet and drive it back from there.
