Even though I have been a member of the club for a number of years,this was my first meet, WHAT A GREAT TIME!!! I found out there are NO strangers in the club, just a lot of nice folks who love getting together with their D/S cars. Thanks to all who made me and Ruth feel welcome. Especially Gary Kaufmann and his lovely wife Marsha, they took us under their wing and spent a lot of time with us making us feel part of the group, looking forward to Texarkana!!!

We missed ya! Since you were so close, but we understand you had a family commitment. No excuses to miss the next one though, ha ha. Set your marks for either Texarkana in September or the next East Coast Chapter meeting in the spring of 2010. Dozens of photographs have been sent to Carol and Frank is writing up an article for the Partner. So everyone will be able to read about it soon. Get that 75 done so you can bring it next year!

Hi all
Just wanted to add my greetings and thanks along with Jim to all that made the Luray meet a great first time, don't tell my wife. Anyway got to meet some great people and some character's too. Was abil to acquire a few pieces and spare parts for my car and more information then I could take in. When the meet was over I raced home, I could not wait to do something, anything with my car, I was so invigorated. When we got home I pulled her top off and gave her a good bath. The old car really needed it. Now I need to get her running. Stephanie and I had a great time.

Still hunting down the many details that are associated with the Durant cars so seeing those photos of the East Coast meet held in Luray will be a big help.
I have been rather busy in my spare time with the remake of the aluminum rear main seal housing assembly. It is completed with the incorporated split seal and now i can proceed with the engine rebuilding process.
Again, looking forward to the photos!
