Bert Babick and I drove to Modesto to collect my roadster from the painter where it had been since August. All of the old paint (sevral layers) were removed and stripped down to the bare metal. Various repiars to the cowl metal and all four fenders were completed.
The trip home was smooth and uneventful, even the traffic was light. In the picture with the car on the trailer, Tom Throne who painted the car is pictured to the right of me. The car now rest in its garage, now fun starts putting it all back together.
The body color is the original Toranto Red. Once the chrome and the restored wheels are installed I'll post another picture.
