I have a puzzling question. How was the rubber grommets installed originally on Durant cars? The thing will not strech enough to go over the pedal, and looks very probablimatic to install from other end. (dissasemble from trans) This pedal is one piece, so how did they do it? Also is there replacements somewhere? Thanks, Jim Glover
