Rear Spring Ride Height

On my 30 roadster I noticed the rear of the car seemed too high. There seemed way too much room from the top of the tire to the top of the fender opening. I checked my 30 coupe and it rides almost 2 inches lower than the roadster. I have removed one of the springs and dug out 2 spare springs from the "parts Dept". The replacement spring is about 3/8 of an inch "shorter" in height. All the springs look alike, have the same amount of leaves etc.

The question is......how do I fix it? Do I remove leaves from the ones already on the car? If so how many? Which ones? Long ones, short ones? Or do I clean up the spares and hope they ride lower?

I'm sure someone out there has an answer out there. It really sounds like a question for dbax47.

THANKS !!
Dave
