To day is Friday and at about 6:30p.m. E.T. time I received a call from the Son of the Person that owned the Durant Dealership here in Muskegon. We talked for about 15 minuets. Wants to meet with me the next time he comes into town. Because he moved around a few times he ended throwing out all the Durant info that was from the dealership that had been saved, he had decided that no body would be interested in it. He said sorry. He has a lot of stories that he would like to share when next time in town. One story was that for them to sell a Durant they would have to take the train to Lansing and drive the new Durant back to Muskegon (distant from Lansing to Muskegon is 106 miles). Durant did not deliver the new cars.
